Sarah found yoga the way many people do--at their local gym. After arriving too late for spin but right on time for a class called Power Vinyasa, Sarah left feeling elated and exhausted but wanting more. After studying various styles of yoga, Sarah's hunger for more than just the physical practice lead her to yoga teacher training. She received her 200-hour Vinyasa Power training from Power Yoga Works and her 95-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training from Jade Graff, RN, NCTMB. Both are certified by Yoga Alliance as credited hours. Sarah became an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher in 2008 in order to teach a series of workshops geared to the novice yogis all the way up to the yoga teacher.

To delve deeper into guided meditation and the restorative practice of Yin Yoga, she studied with Sarah Powers. To apply yoga techniques to heal individuals on a personal level, Sarah will attend Kripalu to study with Gary Kraftsow. Sarah flows spirituality borrowed from the Buddha and Hindu mythology, to inspire and uplift her students. This Autumn Sarah will be co-teaching the 200-hour yoga teacher training at yours truly--Focus Fitness of the Main Line!
