Karen Gagnier
A runner for 30 years, Karen originally came to Yoga for the physical benefits, but in 2007 when faced with breast cancer, she also experienced the psychological benefits of yoga which she hopes to share with others. Influenced by a ballet background, she likes to emphasize proper alignment, but her greatest intention is to spread the message that everyone can improve their quality of life with yoga.

Karen is a certified Kripalu yoga instructor and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She has also been influenced by Anusara, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Power Yoga. In addition, Karen gets to practice her panyama (breathing exercises) everyday as she navigates the schedules of her four children.
